What we store on your device

IglesiaConnect does not set third-party advertising cookies and does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar trackers on the product site or the member app.

We store a small amount of data in your browser so you stay signed in and so the app remembers language, the last church you used, and a few feature preferences. In browsers this is usually localStorage, not a classic HTTP cookie. Spanish cookie rules still treat this as device storage, so we describe it here.

Because these items are strictly necessary to provide the service you requested, we do not show a cookie-consent banner. You can clear them at any time from your browser settings.

• Session (ic-auth) — signed-in tokens so you do not have to type your password on every page. Cleared when you sign out or delete the site data.
• Language (ic-lang) — Chinese or Spanish, according to the globe toggle.
• Last church — remembers the church you last used, including after you sign out.
• Feature preferences — for example choir mixer presets, live-translate audio device, Bible reader options, or that you dismissed the install prompt. These stay on the device and are not used for advertising. Signing out clears account-linked keys and keeps language plus last church.
• Live-translate tab id — iglesiaconnect.liveTranslate.publicListenerId and projectorId live in sessionStorage so a tab can reconnect after reload. They are not kept across browser sessions.

YouTube, Google Maps, and Google Docs embeds on the public site are third-party. They load only after you tap to play or show the map.

Opening a live translation or connecting ChatGPT / Google sends data to those processors as described in the Privacy Policy. That is not done through advertising cookies on this site.

If you follow a link to YouTube or another site, that site may set its own cookies. Their policies apply there.

Sign out of the app, then clear data for app.iglesiaconnect.com and iglesiaconnect.com in your browser or iOS Settings. You will need to sign in again and pick language/church once more.
