How to install the IglesiaConnect app, sign in, and fix the most common issues. If you’re stuck, write to us — a real person will reply.
Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad, search for IglesiaConnect, and tap Get. The same content is also available in your browser at app.iglesiaconnect.com.
The first time the app opens it asks which church you belong to. Pick yours from the list — the app will remember it on this device.
Sign in with the email and password you registered with. If you do not have an account, tap Create account and follow the prompts. Forgot your password? Use Forgot password on the sign-in screen — we’ll send you a reset link by email.
After public approval, search for IglesiaConnect in ChatGPT Plugins and choose Connect. Authorized internal testers can add the production MCP endpoint in Developer mode: https://api.iglesiaconnect.com/mcp.
The authorization window belongs to IglesiaConnect. Use the same church tenant, email, and password you normally use in the app. A normal member account remains a normal member account; connecting does not make it an administrator.
Approve only the categories you want ChatGPT to use. OAuth scopes limit the connection, while your existing tenant, role, and resource permissions remain the final access rules.
Select IglesiaConnect from the tools menu, then ask about your profile, calendar, events, facilities, groups, directory, or a reviewed Excel/CSV import. For a spreadsheet, ask for a preview first and confirm the reviewed snapshot in a separate message. You can disconnect it at any time from your IglesiaConnect profile.
The Live Translate listener page is public — you do not need an account to use it. Scan the QR code shown in the sanctuary, or open the listener link a friend sent you. The translated audio should start within a few seconds.
Sign in, open Live Translate, and tap Start recording. iOS will ask once for microphone permission — accept it. Share the listener QR shown on screen with the congregation.
If you tapped Don’t Allow by mistake, open the iOS Settings → IglesiaConnect → Microphone and turn it back on, then return to the app.
Open Choir, pick the song, then tap Record practice. The first time, iOS will show the microphone permission prompt. Recording stops when you tap Stop; the take uploads automatically and your worship leader can review it.
You can delete your own takes at any time from the song page.
A working demo account is provided in the App Store Connect App Review Information section for each submission. The demo account is a regular church member in a dedicated review tenant, with sample data already seeded: one upcoming worship plan, one bookable facility, one choir song with a rehearsal, and one active Live Translate listener URL.
Reviewers can also exercise the public Live Translate listener without any account — just open the listener URL shared in the review notes.
